When will Brickline North apartments be available?
We are currently accepting applications and booking tours ahead of our Summer 2026 opening. We encourage you to apply early — suites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Call 902-333-3000 or email [email protected] to get started. Once you've selected a suite, we'll walk you through the application process and required documentation. There is no online portal required to apply.
Where exactly is Brickline North located and how far is it from Halifax?
Brickline North is located at 19 Allan Shaw Boulevard in Lantz, Nova Scotia — within the Kiln Creek community in the Municipality of East Hants. It is approximately 45 minutes from downtown Halifax via Highway 102 (Exit 8A). It's also conveniently located for commuters travelling to Dartmouth, Truro, or Halifax Stanfield International Airport.
What type of heating does Brickline North use?
Every suite features in-floor radiant heating — warm water circulates through tubing embedded in the concrete floor, creating even, consistent heat throughout the suite. There are no baseboard heaters, no forced-air vents, and no cold spots. It's one of the most comfortable and efficient heating systems available in residential construction.
Is there a fitness room or shared amenity space?
Yes. Brickline North residents have access to a fitness room and a resident lounge, both located within the building.
How big are the balconies?
Every suite includes a private 90 sq ft balcony with solid concrete privacy walls — large enough for outdoor furniture. The concrete construction means they're durable and provide genuine visual and sound separation from neighbouring balconies.
Are the suites well-insulated? What about noise between units?
Yes. The combination of ICF exterior walls and concrete floor-and-ceiling construction between every suite provides exceptional sound and thermal insulation — well above what's found in standard wood-frame buildings. Private balconies also feature solid concrete privacy walls for additional outdoor separation.
Is parking available?
Yes. Brickline North includes underground parking with larger-than-standard stall dimensions, as well as dedicated storage lockers. Parking availability and fees can be discussed during your application.
Are Brickline North apartments pet-friendly?
